Watercolor Paint and Sip

Updated: Mar 2

While some paint and sips are on canvas. Another style, one of my favorites, is watercolor and ink on paper.

This allows for an easy set-up and clean-up while producing vivid, beautiful artwork.

You can get larger sheets of watercolor or mixed media paper too.

If you prefer a more budget friendly set, you can also try this set with watercolor paper. Whatever you do, avoid using printer paper, investing in more durable quality paper will ensure your art stays intact and doesn't turn into a small puddle.

These are basics, of course you can get quality watercolor in tube, additional metallic colors, brushes etc.

As for the ink, you can use a thin tip sharpies and for some pizzazz you may want some white and metallic gel pens that you can layer on top of the watercolor paint once it's dry.

If you need a pencil and eraser, you can always use what you have on hand, or get a set like this to enhance your sketching.

Lastly, for this upcoming online art party we are doing Zodiac symbols (your Sun Sign) with a decorative background of stars and Blossoms.

For this event over Zoom on March 1st at 4:30pm PT, RSVP here and contact me if you have any questions.

Hot and cold drink pairings for this creative experience ✨️

For this drink pairing I recommend a matcha latte (add your favorite creamer) or a cup of beautiful pea flower and hibiscus tea.

For a mocktail/cocktail, include a splash of orange blossom water (also an amazing face and hair tonic when you put it in a spray bottle, can be combined with rose water too), apple grape juice or orange juice, sparkling water and/or prosecco 🥂

Cheers to your creative flow! 🎨
